The Hardwood Centre is a Hardwoods store in the Albany and Corvallis area. We offer exotic hardwoods, plywood, locally milled lumber and slabs including Oregon Black Walnut, English Walnut, Oregon White Oak, Big Leaf Maple, Chinkapin, Red Alder, Oregon Ash, Pine, Spruce.
We have the widest selection of hardwood plywood in the Mid-Valley, with over 40 species and multiple core options in both pre-finished and unfinished ply; we can provide you with the perfect fit for your project. We have furniture and cabinet grade plywood in many species and thicknesses, including Maple, Birch, Hickory, Alder, Sande, Walnut, and Oak. We stock specialty plywood as well, Rubberwood core ply for CNC and detailed machining applications, marine ply with 100% waterproof resin for demanding marine use, Baltic birch and bendable ply.
We stock a wide range of rare and exotic lumber species, including Mahogany, Purple Heart, Padauk, Bloodwood, Cocobolo, Zebrawood, Wenge, Brazilian Cherry, Lyptus, Lacewood, and more. Long lengths and wide boards are often available, and we have lots of unique and hard to find items for your next exotic lumber project.
We always have a full range of the domestic lumber you need in stock, and we can have custom orders for you as early as next day. We carry all our domestic lumber in thicknesses ranging from 13/16” up to 12/4. Species include Red and White Oak, Cherry, Eastern and Western Maple, Alder, Poplar, Hickory, and Walnut.

We stock specialty plywood as well, including TigerLite Core panels engineered with strength-to-weight ratios in mind, Rubberwood core ply for CNC and detailed machining applications, marine ply with 100% waterproof resin for demanding marine use, Baltic birch and bendable ply.
Baltic birch plywood is unique because of it’s all-birch veneer core that’s cross-banded and laminated with exterior grade glue, with zero voids, making for a superior stable sheet. It also has thicker face veneers than traditional cabinet grade plywood.
We stock the highest quality marine grade plywood from TigerPly in thicknesses from ¼”-¾”. Sourced from sustainably managed forests in Gabon, Okume is both very lightweight and stable. This full Okume plywood has clear faces, no plugs, and 9 plys of whole piece Okume make up the core of this 11-ply marine grade plywood. No-void edges and phenolic glue make this plywood rated for edge exposure, and an attractive industrial plywood that can stand up to the harshest of marine environments.
